Hi… My name is Liselle. I have been doing the Administration for Bayside Gymnastics Club for over 7 years and I really love our family orientated, fun and encouraging Club. I am a mum to two beautiful kids and they are both gymnasts with Bayside.
Many years before I had my children, I used to be a gymnastics coach for Bayside. I am also an ex-gymnast with 11 years’ experience within the sport. I love watching gymnasts confidence grow and am proud to be part of such an amazing team of people.
Hello! My name is Shannon, and I've been calling Bayside Gymnastics Club my second home since 2003. Outside of the gymnastics world I'm studying a Bachelor of Primary Teaching, and if I have any spare time I'll be reading a novel, going to the cinemas or watching exciting, yet often silly, television shows (Dance Moms is essential).
I'm very passionate about the education of children (whether that be in the gym or the classroom), and I believe that there is nothing more rewarding than assisting a child in pursuing their dreams.
Hi. I’m Britt Coyne, I have been working at Bayside Gymnastics Club for around a year now and I’m so in love with what I do.
I’m currently in year 9 and in a performing arts speciality program. I love practicing my own training and socialising with friends. The thing I love most about Bayside is its family friendly and welcoming community.
The thing I love most about coaching is being able to share my passion of gymnastics with kids who are just as eager to learn.
Hi. I'm Emilie Stocker. I've been coaching at Bayside Gymnastics for 5 years.
I've recently graduated high school and am taking a gap year before studying Fashion Design. I enjoy spending time reading and working on my newest crochet projects. I love being a part of the Bayside family and helping each gymnast achieve their very best.
My name is Jordan Lord and I have been doing gymnastics for over 5 years. I’m a bubbly, fun, caring and confident coach. I love working with children and teaching them new skills every week.
Hi! My name is Olivia Dufourq and I have been doing gymnastics since I was 5. I have been volunteering my time to learn coaching since 2014 and became a qualified coach early 2016.
I am currently completing secondary school and hope to make it to university doing Exercise Science. I always love to be outside and being as active as I can. I like coaching gymnastics and seeing the look on the gymnasts faces when they perfect a skill that they work hard on! The team at BGC is a friendly environment that is always approachable and I love it.
Hey! My name is Sandra Ashkar. I have been coaching at Bayside since 2014, and it has been a pleasure watching gymnasts grow in confidence and conquer difficult skills that they once thought were not achievable. Alongside coaching,
I enjoy playing sports and spending time with loved ones. As I am considered to be a ‘family person’, it makes it easy to love and work at such an inclusive, supportive and family-oriented club such as Bayside Gymnastics Club.
Hi, my name is Deb and I coach WAG gymnasts at Bayside Gymnastics Club. Gymnastics has been a big part of my life since I was six years old. I have always enjoyed Women's Artistic Gymnastics and trained at level 9 and also participated in Rhythmic Gymnastics where I reached level 10 before retiring at age 24. I have been coaching gymnastics for 37 years now and have a strong passion for the sport.
Hi my name is Hannah Chaplin. The best part about Bayside is it's community feel. Having been at Bayside since 2005 it feels like a second home. I have been coaching for a total of 6 years.
My favourite part about coaching is seeing the kids grow in confidence and love gymnastics like I do. Outside of the gym I am in my final year of a Health Science degree. I enjoy live music, festivals and keeping fit.
Hi, my name is Nat and I coach WAG and Gymstar classes at Bayside.
Hi, my name is Scott and I coach the Recreational Boys and MAG competitive program at Bayside.
Hi, I’m Lysander. I trained at BMG in the 80’s, and began coaching WAG & MAG state and recreational gym at HYC in 1988 until 1997 when I had my daughter Jaguar. I went back to the Highett Youth Club for two years as Head Coach in 2012.
Deciding to come back to coaching in 2018 was an easy one as I love coaching very much. Living in a different area now, I have come to Bayside Gymnastics and found a wonderful community of coaches, children, and parents. In the future I plan to further my coaching and judging qualifications.
I continue to work a little in film and TV as I have done for a long time, and also pursue my art and writing projects. As a coach, my focus is safety, smiles, and safe progression & achievement.
